Our Investment Banking teams provide a wide variety high quality product and services for corporate clients, based on our thorough knowledge and understanding of emerging markets.

Some of our teams provide expert advice and research to clients on transactions in emerging markets, while others specialise in term lending, structured debt finance, asset finance, syndicated lending and distribution, debt capital markets, securitisation and equity capital markets. We also have teams that focus on finance for acquisitions, projects, property, structured trade and commodities and carbon/emissions, while our Islamic banking team provide a range of products and services that are fully compliant with Shariah law.

Graduate rotations

You'll spend 18 months on a series of rotations in Investment Banking, gaining experience with different desks and/or business units. You will rotate through at least one product and one sector area over the duration of your graduate programme with, a possible third rotation of choice within the Investment Banking division.

Support through the programme

As well as training in all aspects of financial markets, you'll also be assigned a mentor, who's a senior manager or director, as well as a recent graduate who'll act as a buddy. We also have regular continuous learning sessions. These training events enable product and regional experts to share their knowledge and experience – keeping you on a continuous learning curve.

What you'll need

We're looking for graduates who show a genuine interest and/or experience in investment banking and a degree in any subject. If you can show a real passion for investment banking, this programme will enable you to develop your existing skills while learning new ones. You'll need to be a good communicator, with strong academic results, a knack for numbers and the confidence to come up with innovative ideas. We'll be looking for proof of entrepreneurship and leadership skills too. Fluency in English and one or more languages – Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, an African language, Mandarin or Turkish.
